Island Images - The Isle of Man's Railways

'Caledonia' at Knoackaloe.  A huge internment camp was constructed here in WW1, on either side of the roadway seen here.  A steeply graded branch line was constructed from The Raggatt and 'Caledonia' was used to push supply trains up to the camp.
